I could easily have been voted “Least Likely Person to Ever Go Off Sugar for a Single Day” before this whole crazy idea came to me on Feb 28th, 2012.
As the taller and balder ½ of the comedy and juggling show the Raspyni Brothers, I have won four World Juggling Championships, performed on over 100 national television shows, and appeared live over 2,500 corporate events for Fortune 500 companies since 1982. Literally thousands of domestic and international opportunities to eat really sugary treats 🙂
I give my time to this site for one reason: to support anyone that wants or needs to go 30 Days Sugar Free. I am all in, 100%, for anyone that is willing to put some consciousness and intention around what they eat for 30-days.
My journey into sugar-free started on February 29, 2012 (Leap day!) and it was supposed to be just for the day. The next morning I decided to go for a month and at the end of the month it was April Fool’s Day and a year seemed reasonable. That year was so game-changing for me that I am still sugar free – and can’t imagine ever going back to the way I was.
I have been married to my brilliant, talented, and sugar free wife, Annie, since April of 1988. She writes extensively about parenting, teaches music to young children, and is an awesome mom to our anything-but-sugar-free son, Zed.
