Ingredients
- 3/4 cup pitted dates (packed)
- 1/4 cup peanuts unsalted (or almonds if you don't like peanuts)
- 2 tbs oats rolled (not quick)
- 1 pack flour Whole wheat is OK
- 1 cup strawberries chopped
- oats and flour to make this recipe gluten-free
Instructions
- In a food processor blend the dates, nuts, and oats together until combined.
- Line a bread pan with parchment paper.
- Line a bread pan with parchment paper.
- Spread the date mixture out in a bread pan on the parchment paper.
- Press the mixture down so it's flat in the pan and evenly distributed.

- Mash up 1/2 cup of strawberries in a bowl and spread on date mixture in bottom of pan.
- Take the remaining unmashed chopped berries and spread them on top and, if you like, sprinkle with home made granola.
- Put the whole pan in the refrigerator and allow to chill.
- After about an hour take out the pan and slice into rectangular bars. Enjoy!
